New Plants From Cuttings

Do you have over grown plants or just want to share some plants with friends? It is easy to make new plants from cuttings. Purchase a rooting hormone powder from your local garden center.

  • Make a cut just below a leaf on new growth.

  • Remove any blossoms from the cutting

  • Remove bottom leaves and dip end into rooting powder.

  • Plant cutting in a pre-made hole in moistened soil.

  • Keep soil moist but not wet while the tender cutting takes root.
