Burlap for Lining Wire Planters

Use burlap or old gunny sacks as an inexpensive alternative to line wire planters instead of coco liners or messy sphagnum moss. 

Lay the burlap in wire basket. Cut to fit, then fill half way with potting mix. Water the potting mix and plant as usual. A double thickness of burlap will usually last one growing season.
